Description

The Fleet Industrial Supply Center, Philadelphia Division Contract Operation Branch Washington intends to award a firm fixed price contract. The acquisition is to provide services to the Naval District Washington. The requirement is piano restoration. Piano is a Steinway & Sons 1944 Model ?M? Mahogany Finish, serial # 316293. Pick up piano from current location, Washington Navy Yard, transport to restoration center, and return to current location. Restore piano to original working condition according to Steinway specifications. Work shall be performed by Steinway & Sons or an authorized dealer specializing in Steinway piano restoration. Work includes, but is not limited to: refinishing all wood, installing a Belly II (New Soundboard), and regulation. Piano will be properly tuned and in complete working order after delivery back to current location The North American Industry Classification System Code is 339992. The Standard Industrial Classification Code (FSC) for the procurement is 3931, Musical Instrument manufacturing Services; This requirement has a short turnaround time and will only be available for proposal for (2) days.
