- This is a combined Synopsis/Solicitation with intent to award sole source for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes only the solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a request for quotation (RFQ) and the solicitation number is M6700105Q0036. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-15. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 314911. Please view attachment for all Line item descriptions and part numbers. All line items on attachments are covers to corresponding item described. Covers? are shrinkable fabric with VCI (Vapor Corrosion Inhibitor). It is a unique alternative to packaging and protecting products from numerous elements during shipping and st! orage. Transhield offers a unique, patented VCI called AAD-VCI Delivery System. This provides premium corrosion protection in the most corrosive enviroments. Quotes other than FOB Destination will be rejected. The government anticipates this requirement to result in a soles source procurement. The following Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition: FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offers. Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes of Executive Orders. Commercial Items, DFARS 252.212-7001 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items, DFARS 252.225-7000 Buy American Act-Balance of Payments Program C! ertificate, and DFARS 252.212-7000 Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items. OFFEROR SHALL PROVIDE COMPLETED COPIES OF FAR 52.212-3 AND DFARS 252.225-7000 WITH THEIR QUOTE. The Offeror is required to provide their Contractors DUNS Number and Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) code with their quote. The CAGE code entered must be for that name and address provided by the Contractor. DFAR 252.204-7004 (mar 1998) Offerors are required to be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database (CCR). Offerors must be registered prior to receiving an award for this acquisition or for any future awards. Offerors are required to be registered in Wide Area Work Flow DFARS. 252.232-7003.
