THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT TO CONRAD DONARSKI TO PROVIDE CATHOLIC DEACON SERVICES ABOARD CAMP PENDLETON, CA, UNDER AUTHORITY OF FAR 6.302. Dollar value of the award is $18,765.00. Under this award, the period of performance will expire September 30, 2005. Duties for services will include, but are not limited to, planning annual curriculum and course outlines, overseeing the coordination of Roman Catholic Sunday service scheduling, and training religious education instructors, teachers aids, and volunteers. This notice of intent is not a request for Expressions of Interest (EOIs), proposals, or quotations. No solicitation document exists and no telephone inquiries will be accepted. No contract award will be made on the basis of EOIs, proposals, or quotations received in response to this notice. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement and should furnish detailed information concerni! ng their capabilities to provide the services sought, including pricing and technical information sufficient enough to determine that a comparable source to the Government is available. The Government will be the sole determiner regarding an offeror's ability to meet all requirements. The Government will consider all EOIs received prior to 1200 PST on 3/11/05. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is soley within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. EOIs sent via the Postal Service should be mailed to PO Box 1609, Oceanside, CA 92571. EOIs sent via Federal Express or hand carried must be delivered to the Contracting Office, MCB Bldg 22180, Camp Pendleton, CA 92055 during weekdays, excluding federal holidays between the hours of 7:00am and 3:30pm. EOIs may be submitted via facsi! mile to 760-725-8445, Attn: Melissa Clark. The facsimile must clearly identify this notice and the name of the Contracting Officer on the first page. Submitters bear the burden of ensuring that the EOI reaches the designated Contracting Officer on time and should allow a reasonable time for facsimile transmissions to be completed. All pages of the transmission must reach the office before the deadline specified and pages of a facsimile transmission that arrive in the office after the specified deadline will not be considered. The submitter bears the risk of non-receipt of facsimile transmissions and should confirm by telephone that any facsimile was received. This requirement will be awarded utilizing Simplified Acquistion Procedures. The anticipated award date is 3/21/05. The NAICS code is 813110 and the FSC code is G002.
