Description

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Agricultural Research Service intends to award on a Sole Source basis Electronic Access to Scopus a cross-disciplinary abstracting and indexing database from Elsevier on behalf of all current employees, contractors, cooperators and volunteers performing the work on behalf of USDA. All users listed above will have access when they are acting within the scope of their relationship with USDA, as well as any public on-site users, who are duly authorized by the Government to access USDA?s secure intranet. This access is for ordinary business, scholarly and educational purposes of the Government, and sole source award is intended to be awarded to the following company listed below for a base period (March 2005 through September of 2005)and two option years: Yearly electronic access for database as follows: Scopus (Electronic access via the internet for all USDA users for the SCOPUS database shall include Perpetual Data Rights to the content that is published during the performance period. The content (including selection of titles, range of years, citing reference and linking between cited documents forwards and backwards in time, inclusion of CAS registry numbers from the CAS registry file, MeSH terms (from Medline) and EMTREE medical terms (from Embase), and supplemented by human indexers with key terms to records where none are supplied by the author.
