PRON: AX579526AX, NSN: 3110-01-114-6335, PN: 145DS505-2/-3 QUANTITY: Min: 34 /Max: 234, 5-Year Indefinite Delivery/ Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract, applicabl e to the CH-47 Airframe, with deliveries to New Cumberland, PA 17070-5001. This item is restricted to The Boeing Company Cage: 77272, Kaydon Corporation Cage: 32828, and MRC Cage: 38443. This part must be acquired from a manufacturing source (s) specifie d on a source control or selected item drawing as defined by the current version of DoD-STD-100. Suitable technical data, Government rights or manufacturing knowledge are not available to permit acquisition from other sources, nor qualification testing of another part, nor use of second source part in the intended application. Adequate technical data package, data review discloses that required data or data rights are not in Government possession and cannot be economically obtained. This is a Critical S afety Item. Endurance Test and a Contractor First Article are required. Production Lead-time with First Article Testing is 34 each, 246 DACA. Firms that can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Firms are enco uraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website www.redstone.army.mil/cmo/ and looking under CAPSAR and Policy Relating to Source Approval Request (SAR) for Aviation requirements. The closing date anno tated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release of solicitation; however, solicitation will not close prior to the closing date stated above. Foreign firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies. Adequate technical data is not available for this acquisition. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be consi dered by the Agency. NOTES: 23 and 26.
