Description

The U.S. Bureau of Reclamation intends to award a sole source contract to Biomark Inc. 7615 w. Riverside Drive, Boise ID 83714 for the purpose of procuring passive integrated transponder (PIT) tags for use in fish. Biomark is the exclusive national distributor for the Destron PIT tags for fish. The purchase will be made using FAR Subpart 13.5 Test Program for Certain Commercial Items and FAR Subpart 16.5 - ID/IQ. The contract will be for a base year and 4 one-year options The following brand name or equal products are to be procured: Destron Model No. TX 1440St, 134.2kHz PIT tags ? estimated at 50,000 per year. PIT tags to be glass encapsulated, implantable, 12mm x 2.1 mm and implantable with 12 gauge needle. Destron Model ES2001F-ISO PIT tag readers ? estimated at 2-4 per year. PIT tag injectors Model No. MK VI PIT tag injector needles Model No. N100 The location of the work is the Upper Colorado Region, Salt Lake City, Utah. The work will be performed under the North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) 334511. The solicitation will be available on FEDBIZOPPS approximately March 30, 2005. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the Bureau of Reclamation. Numbered note 22 is applicable. The Bureau of Reclamation has directed the use of Central Contractor Registration (CCR) as the single validated source on vendors doing business with the Government. Prospective vendors must register with CCR. Information, Central Contractor Registration Handbook and the registration process can be obtained via the CCR web site, http://www.ccr.gov.
