- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities(FBO) page located at http://www.eps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line(NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. The Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Newport intends to award a firm-fixed price contract on a sole source basis to Technico, Ivyland, PA for the following: Single Board Computer with Windows 2003 Server and Cable for the Hard Drive, P/N TVME-VP101M-895-W-K1 without the Hard Drive, (QTY. 27). ACT/Technico is the only source because the previous development and testing of the Automatic Identification System Single Board Computer utilized the ACT/Technico SBC. Changing vendors would cause schedule to slip and would incur large undue cost to the program. A formal Solicitation N66604-05-Q-2261 will be posted on our website on approximately 3/09/05. A completed copy of FAR52.212-3 Offerors Representations and Certifications--Commercial Items must be submitted with quote. Offers should include price and delivery terms. Offers must be submitted to Commercial Acquisition Department, Bldg. 11, Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport, Code 591, Simonpietri Drive, Newport, RI 02841-1708 or may be faxed to 401-832-4820.
