BROAD AGENCY ANNOUNCEMENT FOR TECHNICAL SUPPORT WORKING GROUP. SOL BAA 05-Q-4782 DUE 4/4/2005 POC 05-Q-4782@tswg.gov DESC: The Technical Support Working Group (TSWG), Arlington, VA, is soliciting concepts for innovative research and development projects. The mission areas are: Blast Effects and Mitigation (BX), Explosive Detection (ED), Explosive Ordnance Disposal/Low Intensity Conflict (EL), Improvised Device Defeat (ID), Infrastructure Protection (IP), Special Projects (SP), Tactical Operations Support (TOS), and VIP Protection (VIP). The Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) package and instructions will be available only from the BAA Information Systems (BIDS) website: http://www.bids.tswg.gov. The BAA process constitutes a solicitation of concepts from those Offerors capable of satisfying the Government's needs. The Government encourages non-profit organizations, educational institutions, small businesses, small disadvantaged businesses, government laboratories, and HBCU/MI's, foreign contractors, as well as large businesses, to submit research concepts for consideration. The BAA selection process will be conducted in three (3) phases. The package describes the full process for submission and evaluation as well as specific requirements for the interest areas. Potential Offerors are encouraged to download the BAA package from the website as of the date of this synopsis. Direct any questions regarding this BAA to the POC listed above.
