- Set-Side: Small Business Size Representation for Targeted Industry Categories under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration per FAR 52.219-19 and 52.219-21 Description: General Services Administration is planning to issue a construction solicitation to Repair/Replace Roofs located in the following counties; Jefferson County, Denver County, El Paso County, Boulder County, Arapahoe County, Larimer County and Adams County. Over 75% of the work is located on the Denver Federal Center, Lakewood, Jefferson, County, and Colorado. From this solicitation a multiple award will be made to a maximum of three (3) contractors for a firm-fixed price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) construction contract. The award will be made on a ?bestvalue? Basis. The performance period for this contract is to include a one-year base period with four one-year option periods. The estimated contract magnitude for this acquisition is between $500,000 and $2,000,000 per awarded contract. The minimum amount of work guaranteed for over the life of this contract is $20,000 per year, per contract. The proposed procurement is set-aside strictly IAW FAR 52.219-19 and 52.219-21 - Small Business Concern Representation for the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The applicable NAICS code for this acquisition is 238160 -- Roofing Contractors. The estimated date for issue of the solicitation is on or about March 21, 2005. All interested parties must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) as prescribed in FAR 52.204-7 and Update all representations and certifications electronically via the BPN website - http://orca.gov per FAR 52.204-8. CCR can be obtained by accessing the Internet or by calling 1-888-227-2423. Registration must be obtained prior to award. No paper copies of the solicitation will be mailed, faxed, or e-mailed. The solicitation will be available for viewing and downloading on the Government Electronic Posting System (EPS) at www.eps.gov. Offerors must register on the site in order to receive notification of the solicitation and any subsequent addendum(s). Please submit any questions regarding the solicitation in writing at the pre-proposal conference, date for conference to be announced in the solicitation. Only Contractors located within the State of Colorado and/or have the ability to respond to emergencies within the Denver Metro Area within 24hrs.
