Description

The Portable Restroom Rental & Service Contract for the San Gabriel River Ranger District on the Angeles National Forest includes providing clean, safe and convenient facilities for forest visitors. The Los Angeles /San Bernardino County, California locations are along the streamside corridors in San Gabriel Canyon and San Antonio Canyon, The San Gabriel Canyon Off Highway Vehicle Area (OHV), Rincon Fire Station and Environmental Education Center at the Old Rincon Fire Station. The toilets will be placed along Hwy 39 starting at approximately mile marker 26.91 and going north to Coldbrook Campground. During the winter the toilet will extend to mile marker 39.0 (Roads Ends) on Hwy 39. Toilets will be placed along the East Fork road starting at approximately mile marker 2.5 and proceeding to the area near the Cattle Canyon Bridge. In San Antonio Canyon they will be placed outside of the lower San Antonio Fire Station on Shinn road and along Mt. Baldy road north to the San Antonio Falls road gate. Work consists of pumping toilet vault; sweeping interior floors; removing waste paper and debris from all surfaces; washing interior fixtures, walls and floors with water and disinfectant soap; restocking with seat covers and toilet paper (provided by the Contractor); repairing or replacing seats, fixtures, springs, hinges and latches. Recommended contract time is 365 days. Desired starting date is June 1, 2005 thru May 31, 2006. Contractors must be registered in Centeral Contractors Registry BEFORE a proposal is submitted. Proposals will not be considered without a CCR number. Registration can be done online @http://www.ccr.gov. Estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000.
