- Sir Description: In accordance with the Federal Aviation Administration Acquisition Management System (FAAAMS), the FAA Western-Pacific Region hereby publicly announces that it intends to solicit a Request for Offers (RFO). The contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, supervision, transportation and materials necessary to surcharge approximately 80,000 square foot area with approximately 40,000 cubic yards of material to facilitate the compaction of the future Airport Traffic Control Tower site and monitor the settlement of the site not to exceed 18 months after contract completion. The performance period established for the surcharge work shall be 18 months after contract completion. The performance period established for the surcharge work shall be 180 calendar days after the issuance of the Notice to Proceed. The contract total period of performance shall be 730 calendar days. Work includes but is not limited to: surveying resources for project layout and grading, complete clearing of the site to include any structures, slabs, fencing, utility lines and etc. A total of 15 interested contractors are being solicited for this project. The first 15 contractors responding to this Screening for Information Request (SIR) with the acceptable documents requested will be placed on the Bidders List for this project and receive solicitation documents for providing a proposal to the Government. Contractors requesting to be on the bidders list for this project must submit their request in writing and the request must be accompanied by documentation, with references, that reflects as a minimum, 5 years experience in the type of work to be accomplished in this project. (Surcharge). Requests must be received at the designated office no later than close of business, March 15, 2005. Any request received after this date, regardless of how transmitted will not be honored. E-MAIL REQUESTS AND TELEPHONIC REQUESTS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
