Description

THIS IS AN ANNOUNCEMENT OF INTENDED ACTION. The 301st Operational Contracting Office at NAS JRB Fort Worth, TX. intends to award a sole source purchase order under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) for the ?Automated Lodging Reservation System? (ALRS). This purchase is being made for the 301st Fighter Wing (FW) at NAS JRB Fort Worth, TX. The ALRS has been developed by Howard, Day and Associates of Atlanta, GA. This is a computer based integrated reservation system that will be used to automate the current manual method for reservation and billing at the 301FW. This system will be used to manage reservations in local hotels for up to 1300 personnel during military drill periods. The ALRS programming was initially developed to support the specific requirements of billeting operations at Air Force Reserve Units. It is now in its 5th program update. The ALRS utilizes DTMF response technology and is equipped with four (4) port analog voice ports, fax and remote support modems. Hardware includes: 17? screen, keyboard, mouse, printer and server. This award will be for installation (hardware and ALRS software), training, warranty, and technical support. It is anticipated that one system will be purchased. ?This proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within eight (8) days after date of publication of this synopsis, will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.? (Note 22) The Purchase Request Number is F5A3CF5053A100. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 511210 and size standard is $21,000,000.00
