This acquisition is under FSC S216, Facilities operations support services. Facilities Operations and Maintenance for Directorate of Public Works, Fort Huachuca, Arizona. A DRAFT solicitation will be posted to allow for comments from in dustry prior to posting of the final solicitation. The DRAFT solicitation is expected to be posted on or about 16 March 2005. After responding to industry questions and comments regarding the DRAFT solicitation a FINAL solicitation will be posted on or ab out 8 April 2005. The contractor shall provide all management, supervision, labor and equipment, except that specified herein as Government-furnished, necessary to perform the services required in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). Functional areas inc lude but are not limited to: Buildings and Structures, Preventive Maintenance, Work Management and Scheduling, Surface Areas, Grounds, Environmental, Family Housing Maintenance, Self-Help, Pest Control, Woodworking, Forestry, MEDDAC Maintenance. The Direct orate of Public Works supports the US Army Intelligence Center and School, Electronic Proving Grounds, and the 11th Signal Brigade along with many other tenant organizations. Fort Huachuca consists of approximately 73,142 acres, situated along the foothill s and north plateau of the Huachuca Mountains. There are approximately 1,724 buildings and structures consisting of approximately 1,187 family housing units and 537 post facilities. This will be a service contract under NAICS Code 561210, Facilities Suppo rt Services, with a size standard of $30 million. All interested companies having the necessary skills and abilities are encouraged to respond. Draft Solicitation W9124A-05-R-0001 will be issued on or about 16 March 2005.
