Description

The Naval Construction Battalion Center Gulfport has a requirement for steel pipe, different sizes, ASTM A 53, type S (seamless, grade A or B), black steel, extra strong, 21 ft lengths, and fittings (for fuel distribution system); galvanized steel pipe, different sizes, Schedule 40, 21 ft lengths, and galvanized cast iron 150 PSI fittings (for fire protection); API SPEC 6D steel body plug valves, and gate valves. This solicitation is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). This acquisition is 100% set aside for small business. The North American Industry Classification System Code is 331210, small business size standard is 1000 employees. All contractors that request a copy of this quotation MUST be registered in the Central Contractor Register (CCR). Further information may be obtained by calling CCR Registration Assistance Center at 1-888-227-2423, Customer Service, and request the registration form and assistance packet for your completion. The internet site for registering in the CCR is http://www.ccr.dlis.dla.mil. Requests for quotations will be issued to all respondents on or about 17 MARCH 2005 with a closing date of 31 MARCH 2005.
