- NOTE #22: THE PROPOSED CONTRACT ACTION IS FOR SERVICES FOR WHICH THE GOVERNMENT INTENDS TO SOLICIT AND NEGOTIATE WITH ONLY ONE SOURCE UNDER THE AUTHORITY OF FAR 6.302. INTERESTED PERSONS MAY IDENTIFY THEIR INTEREST AND CAPABILITY TO RESPOND TO THE REQUIREMENT OR SUBMIT PROPOSALS. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS; HOWEVER, ALL PROPOSALS RECEIVED WITHIN SEVEN DAYS AFTER DATE OF PUBLICATION OF THIS SYNOPSIS WILL BE CONSIDERED BY THE GOVERNMENT. A DETERMINATION BY THE GOVERNMENT NOT TO COMPETE THIS PROPOSED CONTRACT BASED ON RESPONSES TO THIS NOTICE IS SOLELY WITHIN THE DISCRETION OF THE GOVERNMENT. INFORMATION RECEIVED WILL NORMALLY BE CONSIDERED SOLELY FOR THE PURPOSE OF DETERMINING WHETHER TO CONDUCT A COMPETITIVE PROCUREMENT. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items/services prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice, and using the Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are not being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is N65538-05-Q-0055, and the solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-26. This solicitation is a 100% Small Business Set-aside, the associated NAICS code is 334513. The contractor shall provide DLI ENGINEERING EQUIPMENT & WARRANTY SERVICES as follows: Line item 0001 ? Watchman Vibration Data Collector, Part # DCA-50, Qty 2 each. Line item 0002 ? Barcode Scanners, Part # 8840-DCA-50, Qty 2 each. Line item 0003 ? Transit Cases, Part # 2756-DCA-50, Qty 2 each. Line item 0004 ? Signal AQ Software, Part # 1160, Qty 1 each. Line item 0005 ? DCX Multi-Plane Balancing Kit, Part # 8800, Qty 1 each. Line item 0006 ? ILEARN Expert Alert Self Training, Part # 8680, Qty 1 each. Line item 0007 ? Extended Warranty for Expert Alert, Part # 1310, Qty 1 year. Line item 0008 ? Extended Warranty, 2nd Copy, Part # 1314, Qty 1 year. Line item 0009 ? Extended Warranty for DCX, Part # 3470, Qty 1 year. Line item 0010 - Trade-in for #8603 Data Collectors, Part # 8603, Qty 2 each. The period of performance for this effort will be from the date of award through 30 MARCH 2006. The provision FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, applies to this acquisition. Offeror will include a completed copy of the provision FAR 52.212-3, Offerors Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, with its offer.
