- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Office of Pesticide Programs (OPP), under the procedures of FAR Part 15, is seeking contractors to provide processing and indexing support for studies and other technical documents of archival significance and processing and data capture support for regulatory applications, decisions, and incident reports in support of the Information Resources and Services Division. The specific objectives are to: (1) Capture information about pesticide regulatory applications and information about pesticide regulatory decisions and pesticide incident reports; (2) In-process pesticide studies and other technical documents; (3) Support and Maintain the Label Use Information System (LUIS); (4) Operate the Document Processing Desk (Optional); (5) In-process and Perform Administrative Screen of Pesticide Regulatory Applications (Optional). The procurement will be conducted as a small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 518210. The size standard is $21 million in average annual revenues. The Government envisions award of one firm-fixed price performance-based contract as a result of this solicitation. The Government anticipates a contract consisting of a one-year base period and four (4) one-year option periods for a maximum contract term of five (5) years. The solicitation, Statement of Work (SOW), amendments (if any) and other related information will be available via the Internet at: http://www.epa.gov/oamhpod1/oppts_grp/0410896/index.htm as they become available. The Government anticipates issuing the Request for Proposals (RFP) on or about March 18, 2005 as a small-business set-aside. It is the responsibility of interested parties to regularly monitor the website for updates to the solicitation. The Government will not provide hard copies of the solicitation. Interested parties are responsible for downloading the solicitation and any amendments from the Internet site.
