Description
The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to negotiate on a non-competitive basis with Agilent Technologies for the following calibration equipment: Attenuator Switch Drive, Model# 11713A, Qty 1 each; Thermistor Mount, Model# 478AOPTH75, Qty 3 each; Frequency Counter, Model# 53132AOPT010,030, Qty 5 each; Coax Xtal Detector, Model# 8470BOPT012, Qty 43 each; Thermistor Mount, Model# 8478BOPTH48, Qty 9 each; Fixed Attenuator, Model# 8493COPT006, Qty 2 each; Fixed Attenuator, Model# 8493COPT020, Qty 1 each; Fixed Attenuator, Model# 8493COPT030, Qty 8 each; Signal Generator, Model# 8648BOPT1EA, 1E2, 1E5, 1E6, Qty 12 each. This equipment is used in a variety of fixed wing aircraft such as F18EF, EA6B, F14, and P3 and for rotary wing aircraft (helicopters) such as AH1 and H53. The Navy already has this specialized equipment in their inventory and it has already been certified. This equipment also has standardized measurement techniques, calibration procedures and logistics support. The Government intends to procure the above items under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c) (1), FAR 6.302-1. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal in writing that may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
