The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration has a requirement for a contractor to provide all labor, material, equipment, tools, staging, shop facilities, rigging, transportation, required to accomplish a major overhaul of the two ship service diesel generator engines on the NOAA Ship Delaware II. Diesel generator engine nameplate data: #1 and #2 SSDG Engines , Manufacturer ? Detroit Diesel, Series Number ? 6V92T, Serial Number ? DD06VF213527 and DD06VF213531, Horsepower ? 474, 1800 RPM. Manufacturer and name plate data on the generators: #1 and #2 SSDG?s. Manufacturer ? Marathon Electric Mfg. Corp., Model Number ? 433RSL4019, Serial Number ? WA-49901901295 and WA-502729-1295, Volts ? 240/480, Amps ? 812/406, 276 KW, 3 Ph, 60 Hz. Place of Performance is 166 Water Street, Woods Hole, MA 02543. The period of performance will be from May 2, 2005 to May 20, 2005. All responsible businesses that are certified to overhaul Detroit Diesel Generator Engines may submit a quote that will be considered by the Government. Only responsible businesses shall download the request for quotation. The request for quotation is only available on line by downloading from this site.
