- The Supervisor of Shipbuilding Conversion and Repair Newport News, Virginia, intends to award a purchase order / contract to Lydall Industrial Thermal Sales, 68 George St. Green Island, NY 12183, for Cryo-Lite Insulation This purchase order / contract is to be issued under simplified acquisition procedures. The award date is expected to be March 7, 2005. This notice is not a request for quotations. No solicitation document is available and telephone or fax or e-mail requests will not be honored. No purchase order / contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice. A determination not to compete this award based on this notice is within the discretion of the Government. Responses to this notice, if any, must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would have be advantageous to the Government in future procurements.
