Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offer(s) is being requested and a written solicitation will NOT be issued. The solicitation number is HSCG40-05-Q-20149. This combined synopsis constitutes a solicitation and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-45. Applicable North American Industry Classification Standard (NAIC) code is 334513, size 500 employees. This requirement is being solicited with the intent of issuing/negotiating a contract with Hypro Marine, the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1. The contract will be awarded using simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR 13.5. The acquisition is: 1. 6320-99-613-3759, Meter, Rubber Angle, Hypro Marine Part number HM1096/A4, quantity 50 each. NO SPECIFICATIONS DRAWINGS OR SCHEMATICS ARE AVAILABLE FROM THIS AGENCY. NO EQUAL OR ALTERNATE PART NUMBERS SHALL BE ACCEPTED. The following FAR Subpart 12 provisions and clauses are incorporated by reference: FAR 52.212-1 Instruction to Offerors-Commercial Item (JAN 2005). The following addenda is added to FAR 52.212-1 (1) Paragraph (b), Offer shall include unit price (as applicable) and proposed delivery for item (after receipt of a contract). Packaging, Packing, Marking: Each item shall be individually packaged to provide physical and mechanical protection during shipment, long-term storage in an environmentally controlled warehouse, and subsequent shipment to the end user. Items and materials sensitive to electromagnetic fields shall be suitably protected. The internal packing material shall be sufficient to prevent damage during shipment, handling and storage. Preservation and protection shall be provided to prevent corrosion, deterioration or decay during warehouse storage for a period of one year. Each individual unit shall be marked with the vendor name, vendor?s part number item name and national stock number. Bar coding of the NSN in accordance with AIM BC is required. Delivery of all items shall be made within 60/90 days after receipt of order. Companies must have valid DUNS numbers and be registered with Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and shall provide the company Tax Information Number (TIN) with their offer.
