- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for the repair of commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This document incorporates provisions and clauses and provisions that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-20, Effective 23 February 2004. WR-ALC/LTKA intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price Five-Year Requirements contract, consisting of a five ordering periods, for the repair, calibration and functional testing of the standby attitude indicator and the air data unit, applicable to the C-5 aircraft. The Standby Attitude Indicator (SAI) (CLIN 0001) is part of the secondary flight display system on the C-5 aircraft. It displays aircraft attitude relative to the straight and level flight, which provide aircraft Rolland pitch attitude information to the pilot. The indicator also displays altitude, airspeed and mach information as well as BIT status information. NSN: 6610995938834UC; NOUN: Standby Attitude Indicator; P/N: 39220-01-01. HEIGHT: 3.27? The Air Data Unit (ADU) (CLIN 0002) is a solid state unit which senses pilot and static pressures, and sends uncorrected pressures to the standby attitude indicator for computation, correction and display. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 334511. The Data (CLIN 0003) required will include the following: Government-Furnished Material and End Item Tracking Reporting System (G009) (0003AA), Maintenance Data Collection Record (MDCR) (0003AB), Maintenance Service Report (Actual Contractor Flow Days) (0003AC), Alert/Safe Alert (GIDEP Form 97-1) (0003AD). SCHEDULE: The Best Estimated Quantity (BEQ) for the basic ordering period will be 40 ea CLIN 0001 and 30 ea CLIN 0002. The BEQ for ordering periods two through five will be 20 ea for CLINS 1001, 2001, 3001 & 4001 and 15ea for CLINS 1002, 2002, 3002 & 4002. DELIVERY: ALL REPAIR CLINS are due 60 days After Receipt of the Reparable. DATA (CLIN 0003) will be delivered IAW DD Form 1423, which will be provided.
