Description
THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS PREPARED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FORMAT IN FEDERAL ACQUISITION REGULATIONS (FAR) SUBPART 12.6, AS SUPPLEMENTED WITH ADDITIONAL INFORMATION INCLUDED IN THIS NOTICE. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; QUOTATIONS ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION IS AVAILABLE VIA EMAIL FROM robert.mayfield@pco-iraq.net. The Project and Contracting Office, Baghdad, Iraq has a requirement for pumps. Delivery should be within 90 days after a contract is awarded as a result of this solicitation. Pumps should be delivered to Baghdad International Airport. A complete ?Ship To/Mark For? address will be provided on the contract award. This solicitation, W914NS-05-Q-2072, is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The particular pump we are procuring is a Bareshaft Bornemann Twin Screw Pump with external bearings or its equivalent. Model number is W4.1k-78 including single acting mechanical seals (Bornemann standard design), bypass valve, pressure gauge on discharge nozzle, valve drain connection, heavy duty fabricated baseplate, testing/inspection for non-witnessed hydrostatic pressure test, non-witnessed performance test, standard documentation in English. The pumps will be used for pumping residual fuel. The pump will be attached to a Brook Crompton motor. The data on the motors is to allow offerors to know exactly the application of the pumps. This solicitation is for the pumps only and does not include the Motors. Motor data: Standard EExd motor, 15 kW, 1500 rpm (sync), TEFV-IC411, IP55 enclosure, cage induction motor Frame Size: W-EF160LR B3 horizontal foot mounting Electrical Supply: 380-415v, 3ph, 50Hz Baseefa (ATEX) certified for zone 1 hazardous area operation, Gas groups 2A and 2B, temperature class T4 Or Model Number AE160L 15 15kW, 29 Amps, 380 volt delta, 50Hz 3 phase N = 1460 Class F S1 Rating IP 55 Explosion Proof Junction Box This action is unrestricted and provides for full and open competition. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-23 and DFARS Change Notice 20040513. The associated NAICS code is 333911. All interested offerors shall provide English documentation and drawings and include the supply of all documentation to define the equipment supplied for the purposes of usage for the intended purpose. The Contracting Officer will evaluate quotes on the basis of price and technical acceptability equally. Delivery schedule will be a factor of consideration as well as past performance. Both of these will be of lesser importance than price and technical acceptability. Quotes must provide convincing documentary evidence in support of any statements relating to promised performance. Offerors must state whether they will be able to comply with delivery requirements. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation 52.216.1 Type of Contract, the Government anticipates award of a firm fixed price contract, with delivery 90 days after receipt of offer (ARO). In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation 52.212-2 Evaluation ?
