Description

DESC: 1010-01-151-6227, Part Number 5830128. The item to procure is an Elevating Mechanism Assembly for the M3 Tripod. Part has numerous steel parts, including graduated scales, pins, threaded shafts, springs and knurled hand wheels. The part is ap proximately 8 inches long. Phosphate coating is required. The solicitation will result in the award of a long term, IDIQ contract. Guaranteed minimum requirements are 6,800 each, Elevating Mechanism. FOB is destination. For use on the M3 Mount Tripod/M1 22A1. Estimated issue date is 25 March 2005. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same. Proposed contract is 100% small business set-aside. All or a part of this action is an unfunded FY05 requirement.
