- The U.S. Army Engineering and Support Center, Huntsville, will be issuing a Request for Quotation for the impending procurement of the following courses: 1. Cultural Resources: Identification, Analysis and Evaluation, and 2. Environmental Impact As sessment of Projects. This procurement is a 100 percent Small Business Set Aside. NAICS code is 611430. All responsible Small Businesses may submit a quotation. Size Standard is 6.0 Million. Technical evaluation criteria shall be set forth in the sol icitation, which will be posted on or about March 14, 2005. All quotations are due by 2:00 P.m. CST, April 1, 2005. To be considered eligible for award, the successful Quoter must be registered with the DOD Central Contractor Registration (CCR). The fol lowing Internet site is provided for registration information: www.ccr.gov. It is the sole responsibility of the Quoter to register in CCR. Multiple sessions of these courses will be conducted at various locations within the Continental United States, at various times throughout Fiscal Year 2005. The first course session will be Cultural Resources: Identification, Analysis and Evaluation, which is scheduled to take place on May 16-20, 2005 in Santa Fe, New Mexico. An award for one base year and four option years is anticipated. Length of course is 32 hours, with approximately 32 students per session. Contractor requirements are to revise and update existing course materials and present this course at the designated locations. Contractor shall provide all services, personnel, materials except those provided by the Government, Audio Visual aids, travel and lodging for contracto r personnel. The Government shall provide classroom space, government forms and all training equipment and materials. The course, Cultural Resources: Identification, Analysis and Evaluation, provides students with a broad-based understanding of the charac ter and quality of cultural resources as well as a working knowledge of the identification and assessment procedures applied to those resources affected by a proposed undertaking. The course is designed for planners, environmental resources managers, stud y managers, project managers, and others who will participate in the assessment and management of cultural resources. The course, Environmental Impact and Assessment of Projects, provides the student with a working knowledge of the environmental impact as sessment process and the procedures to follow in preparing an environmental impact statement (EIS) and other types of environmental impact assessment documents. A team of two instructors is required for each session. Both instructors shall be present dur ing the entire session. Specific evaluation criteria shall be set forth in the Request for Quotation. Instructors shall have relevant teaching experience, experience in developing, revising, or updating instructional materials, and practical work experie nce in the relevant subject matter areas.
