Description

Riverfront Amphitheater Accessibility Modifications, Des Moines Recreational River and Greenbelt, Polk County, IA. The work consists of demolition, concrete and base removal, excavation of plantings, backfill and open trenching, cast-in-place struc tural and cellular concrete work, installation of ADA compliant vertical lift, miscellaneous electrical work, modification/reestablishment of irrigation system, sodding, installation of new plantings, resetting street light, manholes, parking meters, and p ost hole inserts. Estimated dollar value is in the range of $250,000 to $500,000 and the completion period is on or before 01 December 2005. The NAICS code for this project is 237990. Project is open to both large and small business. Plans and Specific ations will be provided at World-Wide-Web Internet address: http://www.mvr.usace.army.mil. An official version of this solicitation will be posted. Paper copies will not be available from the Government. The apparent successful offeror must be registere d in the Department of Defense Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Database. No Contract Award will be made to an offeror until this requirement is met.
