Description

The Philadelphia Division, Contracting Department, Fleet and Industrial Supply Center (FISC) intends to acquire through full and competitive procedures, maintenance support of the Enterasys, Marconi, and Aprisma hardware and software that compose the JWFC JTEX systems. Support will include software updates/patches, parts replacement, and telephonic/online technical support. Equipment is located at the U.S. Joint Forces Command Joint Warfighting Center in Suffolk, VA. The resultant purchase order will have a period of performance that runs from 15 Match 2005 through 14 March 2006. This requirement is being processed in accordance with FAR 13.5, Test Program For Certain Commercial Items, as supplemented by the procedures described in FAR Part12. The applicable North American Industry Classification (NAICS) code and small business size standard are 423430 and 500 employees, respectively. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) will require the submission of price and past performance information. Release of the RFQ will be via the Internet. Interested parties may download the RFQ upon its issuance from the following website: http://www.neco.navy.mil. The RFQ is listed as N00140-05-Q-1084.
