Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO ISSUE A SOLE SOURCE MODIFICATION. The White Sands Directorate of Contracting intends to negotiate and issue a sole source modification to extend contract W9124Q-04-C-0158 with Research Analysis & Maintenance Inc., 9440 Viscount B lvd, Suite 200, El Paso TX 79925-7054. The extension is for continued operation and maintenance of foreign aviation and ground threat systems in support of the Threat Systems Maintenance Office at Site Monitor and Biggs Air Field, Fort Bliss, TX. The cur rent contract period expires 31 March 2005 and this modification will extend the performance period through 30 September 2005. RAM is the only source available with the technical expertise to allow for effective and efficient continuation of effort pendin g award of a competitive follow-on contract. This is a notice of intent to modify the existing contract in accordance with FAR 5.2(b)(1)(ii) and not a request for proposal. Note 22 applies.
