LAMP ASSEMBLY is made from the following major parts: Lens optical Instrument Part No. 7660577; ring, externally threaded part no. 8247732; contac t/molded/part no. 10543306; cap part no. 10559863; terminal part no. 11739519; plug part no. 11739523; holder part no. 11739525. SEGMENT ASSEMBLY is made from the following major parts: 1 retainer PN 75868888; 1 gear sector PN 8267743; 1 separator PN 758 6890; 2 bearing PN 702629; 2 Stop PN 8267788; sealing compound type I, grade J, PN MIL-S-46163; preload bearings to obtain free rotation without end play; stake after preloading bearing. Requirements are 275 ea RING, EXTERNALLY THREADED, 1,200 EA LAMP ASS EMBLY, AND 125 EA SEGMENT ASSEMBLY. FOB is Destination. For use on the M109 Howitzer. Estimated issue date is 30 Mar 05. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided.
