- SOLICITATION NO. NRCS-05-OR-005 The Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) is seeking firm, fixed-price quotations for the fabrication, delivery (F.O.B. destination), erection, temporary bracing, and in-place field welding of two steel tube debris barriers to be placed in Gerking Canyon, above the City of Rufus, Sherman County, Oregon in accordance with drawings and specifications posted herewith. This procurement is being made pursuant to the NRCS Emergency Watershed Protection Program (EWP) and the terms of a Cooperative Agreement between NRCS, the County of Sherman, and the City of Rufus. Site preparation, construction staking, backfill, and placement of concrete will be done by others and are not a part of this procurement. Payment shall be a lump sum upon completion of all work, including: 1. Shop fabrication of both debris barriers; 2. Delivery of both barriers to site in sections or as a single unit; 3. In-place field welding. The frame of metal structures shall be carried up true and plumb. Temporary bracing shall be placed wherever necessary to resist all loads to which the structure may be subjected, including those applied by the installation and operation of equipment. Such bracing shall be left in place as long as may be necessary for safety 4. Lump sum payment shall include all compensation for materials cost, labor cost, and transportation cost.
