Description
The U.S. Department of Commerce, NOAA, intends to solicit for purchase of the following items: 4 each T-304 Stainless Steel Motorized Ventilation Damper (20.125?x20.125?); 4 each T-304 Stainless Steel Motorized Ventilation Damper (36.125:x36.125?); 60 each T-304 Stainless Steel Motorized Ventilation Damper (42.125?x42.125?). Specifications for the Low-Leakage Control Damper are as follows: 1) Low Leakage Rate: Must not exceed Air Movement and Control Association (AMCA); Standard 500 maximum leakage rate specified at 10cfm/ft? at 4? w.g. 2) Material: T-304 Stainless Steel. 3) Finish: Mill. 4) Frame Construction: 5?x1?x16 gauge hat channel, interlocking frame w/o bolts, screws, rivets, etc.; reinforced with corner braces. 5) Frame Style: Rear flanged. 8 bolt holes (locations to be specified). 6) 6? wide, spaced 6? on center, parallel action. 7) Blade Seals: Blade edge is PVC coated polyester fabric mechanically locked into blade edge. Suitable for -25 degrees F to 180degrees F. 8) Jamb Seals: Flexible metal, compression type seal to prevent leakage between blade end and damper frame. 9) Bearings: Non-stick, non-corrosive, stainless steel. 10) Linkage: Concealed in frame. Stainless Steel. 11) Control Shaft: Minimum ?? thickness stainless steel. 12) Actuators: Electric, 120 VAC, 60 HZ, 2-wire control, non corrosive construction, installed inline with air flow. Rated torque: 60 lb-in. Barber-Coleman P/N MA-418 or equivalent preferred. Sizes: 20-1/4?x20-1/4?; 36-1/4?x36-1/4; 42-1/4?x42-1/4? (openings are ?? smaller in each dimension). These items are being purchased for the National Weather Service (NWS), to be delivered to the National Logistics Support Center, Kansas City, MO. These items are used to support the NEXRAD spare parts program. The intended procurement is for supplies for which the government intends to acquire under the guidelines of FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisitions. Any small business sources are encouraged to respond to this announcement within 15 days after its publication. Interested firms should submit in writing, its name, address, point of contact, telephone number, business size and a brief statement regarding its capability to provide the specified equipment. Also include the name, telephone number, and point of contact for businesses or other government agency to which it has previously provided the item. Failure to provide the required information will deem your request non-responsive. The government reserves the right to solicit bids based on receipt of affirmative responses to this notice. The anticipated award date shall be within 20 calendar days after the date of this announcement. The NAICS code for this action is 335999. This requirement shall be considered a small business set-aside. All responsible sources may submit a bid which will be considered by the Agency. All contractors doing business with this Acquisition Office must be registered with the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) and Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA).
