- Description
- The requirement is for the purchase of a Microwave Measurement Receiver (MMR). The MMR is part of the Microwave Measurement System (MMS). The MMR will be the major component of the MMS and will be capable of performing measurements for the complete calibration of attenuators and signal sources. The MMR will be capable of making highly accurate attenuation measurements from 100 kHz to 50 GHz and from 0 - -140 dBm. The MMR will also have capabilities of measuring all signal generator parameters (AM, FM, PM, phase mod, amplitude, attenuation, special analysis, VSWR, phase noise and audio distortion). The proposed item must meet the requirements of AFMETCAL Purchase Description 1M05-1-18, Revision B, dated 24 January 2005 posted at this site. AFMETCAL Det 1 intends to award an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) commercial contract utilizing Best Value Full Tradeoff Source Selection Procedures. This will be a FAR Part 12 acquisition. The required quantity is for one each first article unit and 40 each production units with data including operation, maintenance, calibration procedures, calibration certificate, and test report in accordance with DD1423s, a minimum 1 year standard commercial warranty and provisioning data. There are options for Fiscal Year 06 ? 09 for an additional quantity range of 0-716 each. Delivery shall be FOB destination. The solicitation is anticipated to be issued approximately 1 Apr 05 with a due date of 2 May 05. The solicitation package including purchase description will be posted at this site.
