- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-23. This RFP has the following line items: 0001 Quantity of 22 High -End Floating Point Computer Systems with the following specifications: A. Motherboard: "ASUS A8V Deluxe" motherboard B. Processor: AMD Athlon-64 4000+ CPU with 1MB L2 Cache, 939 pin package C. RAM: 2BG of low-latency, dual-channel DDR400 (PC3200) RAM D. Video Card: AGP 8x card, must have Nvidia chipset (GeForce4 or better), with at least 256 MB of non-shared RAM E. Optical Drive: DVD Writer, 16x dual-layer, capable of writing CD-R, CD-RW, DVD-R, DVD-RW, DVD+R, DVD+RW F. Network Card: Built-in to the ASUS A8V Deluxe motherboard (NO wireless) G. Hard Disk: Western Digital 80GB 7200RPM STA hard disk H. USB 2.0 ports: At least 4 I. IEEE 1394 (Firewire) ports: At least 1 J. Floppy Drive: 1.44M K. Monitor: Black 19" LCD Flat-Panel monitor L. Case: Black mid-tower case M. Keyboard: Black Microsoft Internet keyboard, PS/2 or USB (no wireless) N. Mouse: Black Microsoft Optical Basic Mouse, USB and PS/2 (no wireless) O. Power Supply: 350 Watt (minimum) power supply P. Sound: Sound built-in to the ASUS A8V Deluxe motherboard Q. Speakers: 1 pair of external speakers (black) R. Fans: 1 CPU and at least 1 case fan S. OS: Windows XP SP1 FOB Destination: Ship to: AFRL/VAOO, Area B, Bldg 45, Rm 051, 2130 8th St., Wright-Patterson AFB OH. Delivery required within 15 days of award. net 30 payment terms. The following clauses and provisions apply: 52-204-7, DFARS 252.204-7004 Alternate A., 52.212-1, 52.212-3. Clauses 52.212-4 and 52.212-5 shall be included with any offer. In accordance with FAR 13.106-2(b)(2), the Government may award without discussions.
