- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for preventive maintenance service prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 13.5, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Notice to interested offerors the government intends to make award on a sole source basis to REES Scientific Corp. Quotations are being requested not later than 22 Mar 05. This solicitation F7911D50260400 is hereby issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-27. The solicitation is issued 100% Small Business. The associated NAICS code is 811219 with a size standard of $6.0. The resulting contract shall be firm-fixed-price. The performance date shall be as established by issuing activity. The contractor will provide all labor, supervision, equipment, transportation, installation and supplies necessary to provide PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE VISIT WITH COMPLETE IQ/OQ TEST TWICE PER YEAR, GMP/GLP IQ VALIDATION REPORT, SOFTWARE VALIDATION TEST REPORT, CALIBRATION OF TEMP, HUMIDITY, PRESSURE INPUTS WITH NIST EQUIP, ON-SITE REFRESHER TRAINING AT EACH PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE VISIT, TWENTY FOUR HOUR TELEPHONE SUPPORT, SERVICE CALLS WHEN NEEDED, PARTS AVAILABLE OVERNIGHT, ALL PARTS AND LABOR TO RESTORE SYSTEM TO NORMAL, TRADE-OUT PARTS TO MINIMIZE DOWN TIME for temperature monitoring equipment at the Armed Services Whole Blood Processing Laboratory.
