Description

The 89th Contracting Squadron, Andrews Air Force Base, MD is conducting market research to determine if there are adequate 8(a) and small businesses firms for a competitive set aside procurement. The proposed contract will be (1) year with (4) one-year option periods. The services required are for a contractor to provide linguist translation and interpreter services for a variety Middle Eastern languages to the target language English. The services will be performed primarily in Iraq, Afghanistan and possibly other Middle Eastern countries. Personnel will be required to live in the Middle East and travel throughout the region with deployed Air Force Office of Special Investigations Agents to perform assignments. Personnel working on this contract will require clearances that could range from none up to Top Secret. Interested firms should submit information describing their experience, technical capability, ability to provide up to 50 linguists at one time, business size, firm?s clearance level, background information and a point of contact to: 89th Contracting Squadron, 1419 Menoher Drive, Andrews AFB, MD 20743, Attn: Gary Branch no later than 29 March 05.
