Description

This will be a 100% small business set-aside, firm fixed priced contract. Contractor shall provide preproduction, production and event production services for the US Army Military District of Washington (MDW) Spirit of America 2005 (SOA 2005). SOA 20 05 will be presented in Cleveland, Ohio; Rochester, NY; and the MCI Center in Washington DC. Preproduction services shall encompass all planning, coordinating, scheduling and designing of the technical, logistical, and theatrical components of the SOA 2005 production, to include venue screening, recons, specifications and logistics. Included in preproduction will be development of project timeline, script from concept, storyline and scene design and all technical system designs for lighting, audio, video di splay and set. Production Services includes execution of plans and designs required to assemble and construct the physical components of the SOA 2005 production, to include set pieces and props, image display programming, assembly of case and crew, and int egration of all production elements through personnel and equipment rehearsals. Event production services encompass all technical, logistical, and theatrical services provided on-site at teach performance venue, to include the loading, setup, rehearsals, p erformances, teardown and load out from all SOA 2005 production venues. Contractor will have overall responsibility of all planning and execution of preproduction, production and event production services based on guidance and direction from MDW Ceremonies and Special Events SOA Manager. The period of performance will be from the date of contract award through 30 September 2005, and will include preparation of an After Action Review and compilation of lessons learned for SOA 2006. The NAICS Code for this pr ocurement is 512191 and the Size Standard is $6.0 Million. All prospective offerors must have a Commercial and Government Entity Code (CAGE Code)and be actively registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at www.ccr.gov. Tentatively anticipate issuing a solicitation on or about 29 March 2005, and the solicitation numbeer will be W91QV1-05-T-0105.
