Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The U.S. Army, Fort Carson, Colorado intends to negotiate a sol e source purchase order with Inland Technology for Breakthrough solvent. This is sole source procurement under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures, and Other Than Full and Open Competition (FAR 6.320-1). THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUO TES, however; any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer within 5 days from the date of the publication of this synopsis. Supporting evidence must be furnished in SUFFICIENT detail to demon strate the ability to comply with the requirements listed above. Responses received will be evaluated, however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion f or the Government. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the sole source negotiation with Inland Technology. Responses are due March 14, 2005 at 5:00am MST. FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certification-Commercial Item . Effective January 1, 2005 all offerors are required to submit representations and certifications electronically via the Business Partner Network (BPN), at http://www.bpn.gov. Award will not be made unless registered. Award shall be made only to contrac tors who have registered with the Central Contractor Registration at http://www.ccr.gov. The following provisions in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) apply to this acquisition to include any addenda to the provision. This solicitation incorporates one or more clauses by reference, with the same force and effect as if they were given in full text.
