Description

Sole Source. The United States Army Yuma Proving Ground (USAYPG), Arizona, intends to negotiate a firm fixed price contract on a sole source basis with Carleton Technologies, 10 Cobham Drive, Orchard Park, New York 14127-4195, for the purchase of an Airox 8 Oxygen test Set for use at the United States Yuma Army Proving Ground (USAYPG), Yuma, Arizona. This contract will be for the following item: Item 0001, Quantity 1, Airox 8 Oxygen Test Set, part number 8820061-1; The test set required must be able t o test and calibrate American Safety Flight and Carlton equipment. Carlton, as the OEM, is the only source for this test equipment. The North American Industry Classification System code is 334519 with a size standard of 500 employees. Award of this requir ement will be in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A R EQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. If you feel that your firm possesses the ability to provide this product, then you must respond by 17 March 2005, 12:01 PM MST. The response mus t clearly demonstrate that your firm possesses the experience and capability to provide the required equipment and provide historical experience. There are no substitutions for meeting requirements of the above listed item and all specifications must be me t. In order to protect proprietary information and prevent the unintentional releasing of guarded information all interested firms must conduct their own research regarding the specifications of the above listed item. See Note 22 with the exception that th e time period for the receipt of proposals for consideration is 8 days instead of 45 days.
