Description

The 166 Airlift Wing Contracting at New Castle County Airport, DE intends to award a sole source contract to Kimbles Aviation Services, Inc., 21513 Rudder Ln., Georgetown, DE 19947. The service requested is to restore tornado damage to F-86H aircraf t to original manufacturers or operational appearance for the period depicted. Reference number is W912L5-05-T -0002. NAICS is 336411, size standard is 1,500. The contractor shall provide all services and supplies necessary to affect repairs necessary insuring appearance is in accordance with Statement of Work; aircraft technical orders; AFI 84-103, U.S. AIR FORCE HERITAGE PROGRAM. This is a sole source procurement under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. This will be a firm-fixed price contract. If there are any other businesses that can provide the specified service, they must respond to this notice before 1500 hrs (central time) on Apr il 8, 2005. If no responses are received by the above date, a sole source contract with Kimbles Aviation Services, Inc. will be pursued.
