- Description: The US Army Corps of Engineers, Philadelphia District intends to purchase six 6 watertight doors and frame assemblies for future installation on the Dredge McFARLAND. The contractor shall furnish all labor, material, services and equip ment to perform the specified work in accordance with the terms and conditions of the solicitation. The door and frame assemblies shall be steel construction, non-insulated, fully-gasketed, with single action, quick-acting, lever arm operation, and shall be approximately 5 feet by 3 feet. Contractors are responsible for shipping doors and frame assemblies FOB destination to the Fort Mifflin Distribution Center located in Philadelphia, PA. Delivery to be made within 60 days after award. Request for Quote RFQ Number W912BU-05-T-0063 to be issued on or about 14 March 2005. Quotes will be due by 2:15 PM Eastern Time on 13 April 2005. Faxed quotes will be acceptable and can be faxed to 215-656-6798. The acquisition will be procured as a commercial item in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 13. Contractors must register on the Internet and download the solicitation package and all amendments from the following address: https://ebs.nap.usace.army.mil on or after the date of the solicitation. If any informat ion changes during the advertisement period, contractors are responsible to make the changes to their user profile on the Internet. Failure to make changes in their user profile may cause delay in receiving notice of the solicitation or any amendments. C ontractors are responsible for printing paper copies of the solicitation and any amendments. No paper solicitation will be issued. All contractors are required to be registered in the DOD Central Contract Register CCR before award as required by DFARS 20 4.7300.
