- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation Number M68909-05-Q-1040 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This solicitation is set-aside for small business; however, all responsible sources may submit a quote for consideration. This document and the incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-27. The Government intends to purchase on a firm fixed-price basis and award the proposed purchase order for the following items: Line Item 0001. Fixed Attenuator with 50 Ohms and SMA Connectors, P/N: 4776-20 (49 each); Line Item 0002. Fixed Attenuator 50 Ohms and SMA Connectors, P/N: 4776-40 (94 each); ! Line Item 0003. Fixed Attenuator 50 Ohms and SMA Connectors, P/N: 4776-50 (16 each). The applicable NAICS code is 335999. The award shall be issued in March 2005 with a required delivery date within 30 days after receipt of order. Delivery shall be FOB Destination to Commanding Officer, ATTN: Supply Officer, MCTSSA, Building 31345, Camp Pendleton, CA 92055. Inspection and acceptance shall be made at destination. The contractor shall extend to the Government full coverage of any standard commercial warranty normally offered in a similar commercial sale. Acceptance of the warranty does not waive the Government's rights under the inspection clause, nor does it limit the Government's rights with regard to the other terms and conditions of this contract. In the event of a conflict, the terms and conditions of the contract shall take precedence over the warranty. The warranty period shall begin upon final acceptance of the applicable deliverable listed in the schedul! e of the contract. FAR 52.212-1 INSTRUCTIONS TO OFFERORS -- COMMERCIAL ITEMS (JAN 2005) is incorporated by reference and applies to this acquisition. The provision at FAR 52.212-2 EVALUATION-COMMERCIAL ITEMS (JAN 1999) does not apply to this acquisition. The Government will evaluate quotations for lowest price. The offeror shall provide back-up information that supports the offered price. This could consist of a copy of the current catalog or price list; invoices from previous sales of the identical item(s); etc. Offeror shall include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, OFFEROR REPRESENTATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS ALT I -- COMMERCIAL (JAN 2005) with its quotation. FAR 52.212-4 CONTRACT TERMS AND CONDITIONS -- COMMERCIAL ITEMS (OCT 2003) is incorporated by reference and applies to this acquisition. The provision at FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders?Commercial Items, Subparagraphs (a), (b), (5), (6), (7)! , (11), (12), (15), (d), and (e) apply to this acquisition and are hereby incorporated by reference. The provision at DFARS 212-301 Solicitation Provisions and Contract Clauses for the Acquisition of Commercial Items, subparagraphs (f)(ii) and (f)(iii) apply to the acquisition and are hereby incorporated by reference.
