- In accordance with the procedures specified in the revised OMB Circular A-76 (Attachment B, B.1), dated May 29,2003, this notification represents the formal public announcement and official start date of a streamlined competition on the mechanical maintenance services commercial activity function performed at several locations in the General Services Administration (GSA), Public Building Service (PBS), Mid-Atlantic Region. PBS provides for the Federal Government?s real property needs by leasing, building and maintaining Federal office space. Government personnel consisting of 5 commercial activity FTEs represent the incumbent service provider located in Elkins, West Virginia (1 FTE), Mount Hope, West Virginia (3 FTE), and Abingdon, Virginia (1 FTE). The estimated work years will consist of a base year and two option years. The designated Competitive Sourcing Official is Susan Marshall. Her point of contact is Jeannine Atwell. The responsible Contracting Officer is Mark Lewandowski, and the Agency Tender Official is Celeste Martins. The projected end date of this competition is June 7, 2005.
