Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number for this procurement is F1C3425064A500 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-27, Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement Change Notice (DCN) 20050222 and Air Force Acquisition Circular (AFAC) 2005-0209. For informational purposes the North American Industry Classification System code is 337215 Showcase, Partition, Shelving, and Locker Manufacturing. This acquisition is reserved for small business and will be awarded as a firm-fixed price contract with the lowest price and best shipping time. Requirement is for one hundred fifty seven (157) 36w x 18d x 72h Combination Wardrobe/Storage Cabinet with adjustable 250-lb. capacity shelves on 2" centers. Must have a secure three-point locking bar system at top/bottom of doors. Reinforced doors with chrome double handles open 180: Industrial grade steel and Black in color. Contract will consist a single contract line item number to include shipping costs, and will be identified as (CLIN) 0001. All items must be delivered no later than 30 April 2005 to 36 SVS/ SVML (Lodging), Andersen, AFB, Guam, 96543. Offerors responding to this requirement, must include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representation and Certifications-Commercial Items (Jan 2005) (this must be completed on http://orca.bpn.gov ), DFARS 252.212-7000, Offeror Representation and Certifications-Commercial Items (Nov 1995), and DFARS 252.225-7000, Buy American Act-Balance Payment Program Certificate (Apr 2003) with the quotation. Clauses and provisions may be accessed via the internet, https://farsite.hill.af.mil or http://www.arnet.far.gov. The following clauses and provisions are incorporated by reference IAW FAR 52.252-2 Clauses Incorporated by Reference (Feb 1998) and remain in full force in any resultant purchase order.
