Description

This request for proposal (RFP) is for the solicitation of a firm fixed-price design-build contract for a new passenger elevator at the Denison Job Corps Facility located at 10 Opportunity Drive, Denison, IA 51442. Proposals should include all labor, materials, and equipment to complete project. Installation will require a shaft to be constructed adjacent to the building structure with one level below ground. Elevator will be a 3-stop, ADA compliant. Center operation must continue without interruption during construction. A pre-bid conference will be held March 23, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at the center. ALL INTEREST PARTIES MUST ATTEND. Bid packets will be issued at that time. This contract will be procured using Source Selection (negotiated) procedures, in accordance with FAR 6.401. The FAR estimated cost range is between $250,000 and $500,000. Proposals will be evaluated to determine which offer provides the best value to the Denison Job Corps. The Denison Job Corps reserves the right to reject any or all proposals at any time prior to award.
