Description
This Solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the posting of a solicitation. The solicitation number is N00244-05-T- 06CH. The RFQ and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 2001-14 and class deviation 2002-o0003. This solicitation is issued as 100% Small Business Set-Aside. NAICS Code 234930 is applicable. The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center-San Diego (FISC-SD N00244) is announcing a requirement for the following: SERVICE – INSTALL EXHAUST STACK PROVIDE ALL LABOR MATERIAL, SKILLED SUPERVISION TO INSTALL NEW 14” TYPE B CONTENT FROM OTHER THROUGH ROOF. 1. INSTALL NECESSARY DUCT SUPPORT EMBRACING ABOVE ROOF. 2. SEAL THE ROOF PENETRATION IN WARRANTY FOR ONE YEAR. 3. ALL WORK WILL BE PERFORMED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE UNIFORM BUILDING CODE (UBC) THE EXHAUST BACK WILL RISE VERTICALLY FROM THE NEW OVEN TO A HEIGHT OF 20 FEET ABOVE THE CONCRETE FLOOR. AT 20 FEET ABOVE THE FLOOR, THE DUCT WILL RUN 90 DEGREES AND RUN HORIZONTALLY FOR APPROXIMATELY 24 FEET TO THE EAST. AFTER RUNNING HORIZONTALLY 24 FEET, IN VERTICALLY UP THROUGH THE PLENUM AND THE ROOF, AND WILL EXTEND 15 FEET ABOVE THE ROOF. THE EXHAUST STACK SHALL BE SECURED TO WITHSTAND WINDS UP TO 100 MILES AN HOUR. Addendum to FAR 52.212-1: FAR 52.212-5 Facsimile Proposals, (c) Fax: 619-532-1088 FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation of Commercial Items; (a) The Government will award a Firm Fixed Price purchase order resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous and considered the “Best Value” to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate the quotation: (i) Technical capability of the contractor to meet the Government’s requirement. To be determined technically acceptable, the contractor must furnish current prior performance history for the same or like work. (ii) Pricing: (a) Contractors must provide current pricing for each CLIN specified. (b) Provide prior sale history of same parts sold to DOD and or commercial companies within the past year. Provide contract/order number, item, quantity, unit price and the date of sale within the past year. Ability to meet the requirements set forth in this RFQ shall be demonstrated by the contractor’s submission of a signed quotation which has not taken exception to the schedule. Quotations which take exception and do not meet the Government’s requirement may be determined to be unacceptable and not considered for award. At the discretion of the Contracting Officer, the Government intends to evaluate quotations without discussions and award a Firm Fixed Price purchase order. Each initial offer should, therefore contain the contractors best terms from both a technical, delivery and pricing standpoint. End.
