Description
Sealift Logistics Command, Pacific (SEALOGPAC) intends to procure the services of one or more ship repair firms to perform ship repair and maintenance aboard SEALOGPAC ships located in San Diego at Government installations or in private shipyards. This work includes but is not limited to Abrasive cleaning/blasting, Welding, Burning, Carpentry, Lagging, Boilermaking, Sheet Metal Work, Rigging, General Labor, Fire Watch, Tank Cleaning, Machinists Brazing, Electrical Work, Shipfitting, Painting, Pipefitting, and Engineering Staging/scaffolding. Offeror must have a Master Ship Repair Agreement (MSRA) or an Agreement for Boat Repair (ABR). The Government may make multiple awards under this solicitation. The resulting contract will be an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Type Contract with a one (1) year base period of performance and four (4) option years. The initial Period of Performance is expected to be date of award through one year there after. This requirement will be 100% small business set-aside, under NAICS Code 336611 with a size standard of 1000 employees. The estimated issue date for this solicitation is 25 Mar 2005. The closing date of the solicitation will be 25 Apr 05, unless a later date is specified in the solicitation.
