Description

The Rock Island Arsenal Joint Manufacturing and Technology Center (RIA JMTC) has a requirement for a Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) system to organize, set-up and stock a crib for over 150 different screws, bolts, nuts, washers, fasteners and other s mall pieces of hardware needed in the manufacture of the Forward Repair System (FRS). The vendor will: 1. Stock the bins to argeed upon levels 2. Re-stock to agreed upon minimum levels no less than every two weeks. 3. Provide itemized inventory rep orts as requested, but no less than once a month. 4. Provide a monthly itemized invoice, based upon the unit cost of each item of hardware. 5. Barcode hardware and provide signs to identify each item. 6. Provide technical support. 7. Provide emerge ncy re-stocking within 24 hours. The Government will provide the space. This will be a one year contract with two option years. Award will be made to the lowest priced, technically qualified quoter. Funding is available for 21 FRS units at the start of the contract. Additional units are dependent upon receipt of future orders and funding. Vendors must watch the AFSI (https://acquisition.army.mil) web site or Fedbizopps (www.fedbizopps.gov) for the solicitation.
