Description

Sole Source. The United States Army Contracting Agency  Southern Region, Yuma Directorate, Yuma Proving Ground (USAYPG), Arizona, intends to negotiate a firm-fixed price contract on a sole source basis with Speedvision Technologies, Inc., 3970 Sorre nto Valley Blvd., Suite E, San Diego, CA 92121. This contract will be for the purchase of a Redlake High Speed Camera, Part #HG-LE. YPG has several of these cameras in use. The software user interface and Ethernet connectivity was developed specifically f or this camera and will not work with any other type of camera system. The camera also must work over a MRV Laser Link with a Flight Follower. Award of this requirement will be in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition o f Commercial Items. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirements or submit proposals. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. If you feel that your firm possesses the ability to prov ide these services, then you must respond by 15 March 2005, 11:00 AM MST. Email your response demonstrating your firms experience and capability of providing this requirement to Edgar Angulo at Edgar.Angulo@yuma.army.mil In order to protect proprietary inf ormation and prevent the unintentional releasing of guarded information all interested firms must conduct their own research regarding the specifications of the above listed item. See Note 22 with the exception that the time period for the receipt of propo sals for consideration is 5 days instead of 45 days.
