Description

W912EK-05-T-0077 - Lock and Dam 11 Bulkheads, Mississippi River, Dubuque County Iowa, Nine Steel bulkheads shall be fabricated and shipped to the Le Claire Base, near Le Claire, Iowa. Each bulkhead is made up of two trusses joined together by a skin plate. They are approximately 115 feet long, 3.5 feet high, 14 feet wide, and have a weight of about 38 tons (exact tolerances are as shown on the drawings). Fabrication is required in a shop certified by AISC for major bridges (except for castings), ou t of ASTM A709 steel, and in accordance with AWS 1.5. The NAICS code for this project is 332312. Project is open to both large and small business. Plans and Specifications will be provided at World-Wide-Web Internet address: http://www.mvr.usace.army.mi l. An official version of this solicitation will be posted. The apparent successful offeror must be registered in the Department of Defense Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Database. No Contract Award will be made to an offeror until this requireme nt is met. Offerors not already registered in the CCR Database are highly encouraged to do so via the following World-Wide-Web Internet address: http://www.ccr.gov.
