Description
MODIFIED VERSION OF DESCRIPTION SUPERCEDES ALL PREVIOUS STATED CONDITIONS CITED IN ORIGINAL POSTING. ALL QUESTIONS SUBMITTED BY INTERESTED PARTIES HAVE BEEN ADDRESSED (PLEASE REFER TO ATTACHMENT). The Department of States National Foreign Affairs Training Center, Foreign Service Institute (FSI) provides training and professional development to personnel of Department of State and the Foreign Service community. The Transition Center (TC) helps prepare employees and their family members for effectiveness in the foreign affairs community by facilitating transitions throughout and after their careers. The Transition Center’s Overseas Briefing Center (TC/OBC) offers programs and special events designed to meet the diverse needs of employees and family members preparing for an overseas assignment or returning to the United States. The continuum of training begins with presentations and courses targeting those new to the foreign affairs life. Some courses are designed specifically for spouses and some focus on matters concerning children. Currently, FSI/OBC is seeking contractor(s) to provide access to an established web based self-service portal that contains a variety of valuable relocation services and tools to aid employees and their families. FSI/OBC is looking for a service that has already been developed. Service for the actual development and design of portal is not being sought through this announcement. The web based portal and stated specifications should currently be in place and ready for use. Some major features sought would include password-protection, destination specific reports on at least 90 international locations and 20 (or more) major metropolitan areas within the United States. Due to nature of current clarification all interested parties are encouraged to confirm interest for this project via e-mail. (NO PHONE CALLS PLEASE). PLEASE PROVIDE CONTACT INFORMATION IN THE BODY OF EMAIL (including complete mailing address, phone/fax numbers, and responsible point of contact). NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO WWW.FEDBIZOPPS.GOV ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (10-MAR-2005); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE. PLEASE CONTACT fbo.support@gsa.gov REGARDING THIS ISSUE.
