Description

This Synopsis is modified to change classification code to 43- pumps and compressors, and to delete note 8 and add note 9. This solicitation is for the acquisitionof items primarily manufactured by Blackmer Pump (A Dover Company), cage code 07524. This acquisition includes the purchase of part numbered items as well as one competitive item (government drawing) where Blackmer is an approved source, and/or have supplied the item in the past. NSN that will be awarded in accordance with government drawing is 3020-00-481-9590. Offerors should be aware that there is a potential for split awards. The intent is to award an indefinite delivery type contract for a one year base and four option year. Solicitation and NSNs will be available for download on the Internet at http://dibbs.dscc.dla.mil on its issue date. Hard copies of this solicitation are not available. The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the government. The total duration (base plus option years) shall not exceed 5 years. This proposed procurement included a family group of items within the Federal Supply Class 2910, 3010, 3020, 3040, 4320, 4730, 4810, 4820, 3110, 3130, 5342, 3030 4930, 5305, 5306, 5307, 5310, 5315. 5330, 5331, 5340, 5360. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factor s described in the solicitation.
